Wait till March, and you'll get the SCENE expansion, the third and latest among the Metal Gear Online expansion pack for Metal Gear Solid Universe. New maps, special characters, gear and more await you in this pack. And to make it even more accessible to fans, Konami has now made it possible for you to use PayPal along with your PSN Wallet prepay system as mode of payment. A dangerous idea, but lovely. *Gulp*

Now, if you want to get first dibs on this expansion pack, then I suggest you pre-order SCENE (to be made available a week before the launch) through MGOnline's in-game shop and Konami's shop. Those who do pre-order will be getting a hilarious classic "cardboard man" head gear as a special free gift. Whopedoo!

Oh, and do watch out on February 26 - Konami will be debuting an all-new sneak peek trailer of SCENE on the PlayStation Store.

As for the list of goodies you'll find in SCENE:
  • 3 New Maps
    • Outer Outlet - An Industrial Wasteland, made up of buildings and underground/above ground areas. Suitable for medium to long range attacks.
    • Hazard House - An enormous three story mansion. Suitable for close to medium range combat.
    • Ravaged Riverfront - Clock Tower, made up of underground, above ground, and under water areas. Suitable for medium to long range combat.
  • 2 new special characters
    • Raiden and Vamp - two highly anticipated characters with extraordinary physical abilities and overwhelming offensive power.
We'll keep you posted on more developments on this as they come. In the meantime, do enjoy the screenshots that came along with the press release via the PlayStation Blog.

Watch Big Boss and Big Mama (Eva) be in the next expansion.

And hopefully we'll get a Shadow Moses or Outer Haven map.

can anyone tell me how much these expansion packs cost? I've never bought them cause their such a pain to have to go through the konami website and use 2 passwords, I don't know why they make it so complicated instead of just using psn

In other words, go to your local Walmart, or Blockbuster and buy a PlayStation Network Card, preferably the $20 one. Once you get it, you enter the voucher code on the back of the card, and it will ask you do you want to add funds to your wallet. Say yes, and then you buy the expansion!

 » Shadow Moses?

I would like to see a Shadow Moses Level, but I couldn't figure out what section of the place they would use. Maybe Sniper Wolf's Snowy Range?

 » Don't exactly agree

But I do understand what you mean..

I would've rather to have a different character than Vamp come along with Raiden (they're both a little too alike). That mall map doesn't appeal to me at all. The other two are fine, because in one of them its actually raining and the other has lots of water, which is a nice element in my opinion.

Its not all that bad but I think it could've been better.
