Metal Gear Solid 4 - Image 1It's been more than a year since Metal Gear Solid 4 launched but it still remains without Trophy support despite repeated requests from fans. Konami says that they're listening, but they just don't have anything concrete to announce yet.

Hideo Kojima - Image 1Oh, he's feeling the pressure alright. Hideo Kojima, creator of the famed Metal Gear series, is admitting that he does feel the intense pressure from people for him to continue with it, even when Solid Snake has already been technically retired in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots .

RUMOR ALERT! - Image 1With all of the rumors and teasers flying around about Kojima Productions' next project (as much as I want it to be, I have to bet that it's not Zone of the Enders 3), here's another one to add to the pile.

MGS4Aaaand: restock! Solid Snake's 80GB bundle is available once again on Amazon. Just in case you're looking to buy a PS3 unit (for yourself, or a friend, a brother, your girlfriend, your granny, who knows?), this one's worth a shot. The SKU was discontinued before, but now it's back.

Just so you know, this is not the Gun-metal Gray unit. This is, however, the backwards compatible version, so that's a plus.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Image 1If you happen to be in Japan in June and has still to pick up a copy of Konami's blockbuster game, Metal Gear Solid 4, then that would be the perfect time to get one (although I do have to ask why the heck don't you still have your own copy). Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has announced today that MGS4 now belongs to the platoon of their PlayStation 3 Best budget line.

MGS - Image 1I won't spoil it for you guys as to who the star of "the next MGS" would be (no, you don't even have to wait for E3 either). Following last year's "Metal Creed Solid" gag, I find this one a bit more hilarious than shocking. It reminds me of Yoda fighting Count Dooku - except here, Yoda's also got some Eddy Gordo capoeira skills.

Thanks to Evensen for the heads up!

MGSTo many a gamer, the name David Hayter rings a bell. Most of us would know him as the voice behind Solid Snake in the MGS series. But he's also got his screenwriting career under his belt (X-Men, Watchmen). In this video interview, he reveals that Hollywood politics may have blasted his chances for penning the MGS movie, however, he's looking rather optimistic.

Famitsu logo - Image 1This is one tough list to get into, and so we tip our hats to the game titles that were hailed as one of Famitsu's Best PSP and PS3 Games for the past year of 2008. No surprise there, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G from Capcom took the sweet number 1 spot, with cherry on top for the Sony handheld, while Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid 4 leads the pack for the PS3, with no less than a shining perfect score from the reviewers.
