Rock Band 2 - Image 1

Latest update on the 20 free downloadable tracks that Rock Band 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2) was supposed to have available on Tuesday: FUBAR.

Moreover, they've stopped sending out token codes altogether. "Sending out the codes before the content is live will just result in more confusion," explained Harmonix Developer Sean Baptiste. They hope to have the problem resolved within 24 hours and apologize profusely for the delay. They're "working their butts off," as Baptiste put it.

On the PS3 end of things, they're still working with Sony to get the content up and the codes out but no estimates yet on when the problem will be fixed.

I suppose one can complain about this little gaff but, hey, the stuff's still free, right? No worries, Harmonix.

» they dont deserve any hassling.

They've been supporting the hell out of their games, unlike a lot of other devs. Plus, 20 free songs? They probably went through hell just to get that done. So yeah, I'll wait happily.

Eh, did you see the list? I'll wait to hear the songs before I download them.
