With the Monster Hunter (PSP, PS3) franchise's reputation secure over in Japan, it appears that Capcom's setting its sights elsewhere. A company executive has recently announced that they will be bringing MH's marketing campaign over to the west. Details are in the full article.

The Monster Hunter series is perhaps one of Capcom's most popular title. We thought that Capcom pretty much buzzed us already on what they are to announce on E3. However, it seems that Monster Hunter Freedom is not the only Monster Hunter title that they are have for E3. They appear to be interested in creating Monster Hunter 3 for the PS3.

Today, we've seen how well the PS3 performs in gameplay. Considering that, Monster Hunter is a strong title for the PS3! Imagine the environment, the monsters, and how you slay them (or if you unlucky, become a monster bait).

Capcom has definitely found a great amount of things that they can do with Monster Hunter using the PS3 hence they've decided to develop the 3rd Monster Title title in the said console. It would be fun to see what happens next in the next few days as Capcom announces what they have yet to offer us soon.
