Worlds collide in Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) as both heroes and villains fight to save their existence. How did these two worlds meet? Who is responsible for this? And how will they save their worlds by fighting the crap out of each other?

Here's the game's new story intro trailer, where cool cutscenes, cheesy lines, and dramatic background music distract you from the fact that it answered none of these questions.

Ok, it's a trailer, so it's not a sin to not give away anything about the story. But really, I'm losing more and more interest in this game. The fatality moves are nowhere near the quality of the previous Mortal Kombat games, and the level of violence feels tame. They should have at least thrown a bone with the game's story.

The whole thing just feels... campy. Granted, the game is aimed for Teens, but since that's the case surely they could have chosen something other than Mortal Kombat, some other franchise whose selling point wasn't dependent on M-rated violence?
