Bugs found in NBA Street Homecourt's PS3 version - Image 1

Today we're going to look at some issues in an Electronic Arts release. The game in question is the PS3 version of NBA Street Homecourt and the issues involved are the Online mode and some output problems with both 1080p and 1080i.

First, the Online mode. Quite a few players who bought NBA Street Homecourt found out that the Online mode for the game's PS3 version simply didn't work. Apparently, it had only been brought to the attention of EA's tech support when the game launched in stores and has now been fixed.

A moderator at the EA Sports forums, brainpowered35, said that specifics haven't been pinpointed yet, but EA believes that "somewhere in the migration process, a server switch was missed."

On to the video output problem. A few players have complained that the game won't run in 1080p and 1080i. As of now, there has still been no word from EA regarding this issue. Ashbong, the same guy who brought this to our attention, says that the problem may lie in the game's programming itself. He's already exchanged his copy of the game for another and the problem still persists.

Keep checking back here on QJ for more updates. If you're experiencing problems with the game, click on the "via" link below to head on over to the EA Sports forums. Thanks to Ashbong for the heads up!

its actually ashHong, but whatevs, u got the news out.

to the guy up above...notice how u had to turn off 720p. i havent tried that yet, but if u just let it auto-load it with im assuming all resolutions including 720p, it will glitch up.

the error only occurs when you have the game in the PS3 BEFORE you turn the system on. let it auto-load, and u will experience it.

 » What?

you leave it on all the time? as in loaded into the XMB with the green light on? Why not just put it on standby? What a waste of power, u know the ps3 sucks up the most out of all right.

 » yea

with the money you burn on the console being on all the time, you would be able to buy a new ps3 by the time the warranty on yours is up.
