As you've probably heard by now, this year's iteration of the NCAA Football video game franchise will feature a different athlete for each console build. It is in this light that Electronic Arts has announced the cover athlete for the PlayStation 3. The cover athlete for NCAA Football 09 for Sony's console is none other than former Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan. EA Executive Producer Jeremy Strauser seems quite excited with this development. He commented: NCAA Football 09 showcases everything that makes college football exciting and unique. From enhanced gameplay and presentation to our online Dynasty Mode offering. The only franchise mode online for EA Sports, we feel that this will be a standout product accurately reflecting the college football experience and also captures the true emotion of football on Saturdays. For those who are wondering about Matt Ryan's career, he finished his career at Boston College as the school’s career leader in pass completions. Aside from that, Ryan was also named the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2007. That's about it for NCAA Football 09. Keep checking back here at QJ.NET for more updates regarding this build as well as the others (PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, DS). |
