We managed to get a newly uploaded trailer video of the upcoming Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit. The game was revealed recently by Namco Bandai with a wide target release date of 2008.

The video clip itself contains several cut scenes as well as actual gameplays featuring much-loved characters such as Vegeta, Goku (both in normal and Super Saiyan form) as well as Freeza. The appearance of Yamucha is also very much welcome.

Despite the very enticing clip, there are still no details as to what kind of battle system Namco Bandai will be implementing in Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit. Judging from the previous magazine scans, though, it seems that the game will involve the Cell, Freeza, and Saiyan sagas.

While waiting for more details, just enjoy the video clip below!

QJ.NET would like to thank kirenkoine for uploading the video and Apu for the heads up!

 » curious about combat

the game looks like it fits in-between budokai 3 and DBGT final bout as far as combat goes, which should run very nice on ps3/360

I wonder how much of the japanese music will be in the X360 release though.

As the american budokai / tenkaichi release always had their japanese lyrics stripped from the opening.

Lets just hope the Euro release doesn't get screwed because of the american's non-american-phobia.

Why can't they put fighting like this into a new franchise? Tekken and Dead or Alive fighting get so bland after a very short time of play.

I've always found tekken and doa boring anyways. Give soul calibur a try if you're looking for something different and more action packed.

But, you can't blame the companys who make tekken/doa for not implementing something like this, it'd p1ss off their hardcore fans.

» Is it me or does this look exactly like

DBZ Budokai 1 with Shin Budokais engine cause that engine is a major upgrade to Budokai 3 cause you can actually do speed burst flying.

The cutscenes look like the PS2 version of Budokai 1, THE ONE WITH THE GOOD CUTSCENES, NOT CRAPPY BOARD GAME NOR THAT OTHER THING LIKE BUDOKAI 2 AND 3!

But the cutscenes look more next gen but still, is it me or are they remaking Budokai 1 cause the cutscenes look like they were taken right out of Atari's Budokai 1 game.

The game looks very very good but I remember Atari did just like Namco Bandai and they were too lazy to do cutscenes for Budokai 2 and 3 and we never really got to see Boo saga in PS2 graphics and I think alot of us wanted the Boo saga to have the nice PS2 graphics like Cell saga and Frieza saga.

Anyway I hope Bandai doesnt go that route and just do Cell saga and Frieza saga like Atari did. I know Bandai is the original people behind the DBZ games.

Hey you guys do know that I think Bandai will keep the japanese music in for the fans who like it and make new music for the US people because Atari usually cuts out the japanese music for US, so I think because Bandai is back in business, we will get the japanese DBZ music because Ubi Soft gave japanese fans the Naruto japanese Voice acting.
