Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - Image 1With Uncharted: Drake's Fortune enjoying a pretty solid reception from gamers and critics alike, talk of a sequel for the adventure title has already surfaced.

During an interview with French news channel TF1, Naughty Dog's co-president Christophe Balestra gave out what could very well be the closest thing to an official confirmation for an Uncharted: Drake's Fortune sequel so far (translation from Playfuls.com):

I think that the game has a profound side at the history level which might appeal [to European gamers]. And after all, we're soon going to start working at the sequel. For that we need to sit back for a while and look at the game from a different perspective, in order to see in which direction we're going to push it. But the world is there, it's rich... So there's plenty of space for a new passionate title. Even better [than the first one].

Balestra's fellow Naughty Dog co-president, Evan Wells, has also said in the past that gamers can count on the studio to release an Uncharted: Drake's Fortune sequel sometime in the future. Keep checking back here for more updates.
