The guys at FinalFantasyXIII.net got their hands on the latest issue of Shonen Jump and we now have new scans for Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PS3). From the looks of it, the Japanese gaming mag made a feature on the Espers, putting Alexander and a Chocobo taking center stage.

 

Taking a closer look, it doesn't appear that Alexander doesn't change form too much when Hope rides him, but the Holy-blasting castle thing seems to make use of his large pillars/legs when in battle. Things are more convenient for the Chocobo, which doesn't need to change form to be mounted. It also appears to be much larger than the ones we've seen in previous FFs, so it's very likely that it'll be Vanille's Esper.
