And I still don't think the new logo looks very bad.. although it perhaps could have been a bit better.

rawrskies he wasn't dropped from a flight of stairs, he was bored like this, probably cause during his mother pregnancy she was drinking alot....which leads to mental problem.

i wasn't greatly impressed or interested in the logo when it was first shown, but now knowing it's to be used in connection to the playstation network. the face button logos are wrapped around a sphere - which is representing the earth maybe? this would promote the online community and the multiplayer side to gaming.
looking at the logo this way, i think it's quite a funky creation.
