Hey, anyone up for some comedy relief? I luuurve British humor. And if you're a Monty Python fan, then huzzah to you too: the PlayStation Store gets new videos today, including a Monty Python collection, Pineapple Express (hilarious like hell - James Franco rocked!) and a bunch of other movies. Here's the entire lineup:
  • Babylon AD
  • Bangkok Dangerous
  • Disaster Movie
  • Pineapple Express
  • The Wackness
  • Episode 22 of Xam’d: Lost Memories
  • Monty Python Collection (4 features, 7 specials, 3 TV seasons)
Here's a video of various comedians like Hank Azaria, Jimmy Fallon, and even Trey Parker and Matt Stone, talking about Monty Python's many different levels of sheer comedic genius (and cross-dressing).

Now that Monty Python's up, it's a shame why the service isn't available in Europe yet. Sheesh.

I agree, what could be so hard to bring the video store to europe? Sure, there are many languages here, but most of the movies are available in all major languages and additionally, you could always activate subtitles.

If you guys want movies so badly why not just pirate them?

 » Yeah, I really agree.

As I said, it's a shame. SCEA was able to bag the rights to publish the British series on the service, and yet Europe doesn't get the video download service itself.

I'm just seriously hoping that making Monty Python available is heralding the eventual launch of the service in other regions. The signs are all pointing to that general direction, and once Sony listens to the demands of the consumers, I really hope they pull though with it. ;-)

Like Silver-Tiger says, how hard is it to implement it. It would be nice to have the option available if I should ever want to use the service
