i'm getting tired of this trend of downloadable contents... just put everything in the disked game.
and then later on we find out that this weapon costs this much and this enemy costs this much etc...
put everything in the game too, but eventually you'll use everything and probably get bored of the game. When that happens thats when you start putting DLC. I said the same thing for Dmc4, I think they sould send out a 100% game plus add stuff with DLC.
As long as they make the game longer than 5 hours of gameplay, I'm fine with it.
have you played the game???
i've gone thru it 4 times already twice in normal mode and twice in hell mode... my second run thru on both normal and hell i didn't die a single time, breezed thru all the levels.. got a perfect glyph score in each one of them... and guess what ur 5 hours is a flatout lie.... way to go to devalue a game which seems like you don't really know anything about... it is short than comparable adventure games but don't exaggerate cause it just makes you look so sad.
first people go and complain that it's a 9 hour game then they complain that it's a 6 hour game and now 5 hours??? what's next your going to go about saying you finished it in 30 minutes?
play it without a walkthru and on your first go as a Heavenly Sword rookie between the catapult stages, the bosses like the fox, etc... tell me if on your first go that you can brag that you finished it in 5 hours...
What is your problem ?
Yes I have played the game, completed it twice, once on hell and once on normal mode and that took me a flatout two days.
Let me inform you that I don't care about how many times you played through the game, how many times you died or even how many glyphs you collected. This is all irrelevant to your point;
You don't like people exaggerating about heavenly swords' time.
We all know the game is terribly short, although the time that you actually play the game is great, it has great visuals and great sound, the subtitles tend to lag a bit behind, but that is easily overlooked.
And seriously now, did you actually look at a walkthrough while playing through heavenly sword ? Funny, funny indeed.
your 5 hours ha???
and to answer your question i didn't use a waltkthru... i'm telling YOU not to use a walkthru and see how many hours the game really is... learn to read.
next time don't lie if you don't want to get called out.... 5 hours... no matter what you say you didn't play the game if you're claiming you finished it in 5 hours... and the relevance of what i said regarding me playing it and how i breezed thru it in my last couple of go (in which i believe no one could have done it any faster) is to emphasize that u'r a liar.
I never claimed I actually finished it in 5 hours and I also never denied that I exaggerated about the short time.
The 5 hours I mentioned was just a shot at the short length of the game and I am sorry that you took it seriously.
So you are telling me to NOT use a walkthrough and see how many hours the game actually is ?
So you are encouraging me to not waste time on reading a walkthrough and to just rush through it ?
Why would anyone ever want to read a walkthrough whilest playing Heavenly Sword ? There aren't any tough to crack puzzles in there, it is just get from point A to point B and slash everything up along the way. The bossfights aren't that hard to figure out either.
So I would like to know where you got the entire 'no walkthrough' idea from, because it doesn't make sense to use one in the first place.
Who knows, maybe you just couldn't complete the game on your first run and needed walkthroughs to help you walk through the game.
I am tired of seeing a lot of games of this type like this too. It feels like they didn't finish making the final product and still charging $60. By the time you download all the added items you have payed $100 and used up more space on the hard drive. Some games I think downloadable content is ok for such as Guitar Hero but for an adventure game it just feels like a rip off. I get sick of all the patchwork in games that should have been right from the start. What ever happened to the good old days when you can rely on the quality that was on the game and not get the nasty suprises of glitches and mistakes that make the game a bear to play. I hope game developers take note by the many fans out there that get tired of it.
What happened was HD, 60 FPS, Graphics, Space (Environment of the game), Fitting Some Games On Limited Space, Sound, Gameplay, Online, Having To Be Innovative, and finally creating a true next-gen game. All of those together are beginning for trouble.
Hopefully you can finally jump in this game.
I still don't get how Kai survived being hung during the entire battle with Flying Fox or how she still had her crossbow with her.
10 Years eh.
I thought Nariko was going to pull a GoW on us and come back from hell/heaven. A new character is nice, I don't really count Kai as a character seeing as see only had 1 worthy chapter, but I wanted to play as the sexy Nariko again. Can this be the game that was in the screen-shoot??
I would love to play with the character of Nariko again. I wish they hadn't killed her off in the first one. I mean they created this great character and always had the idea of creating a franchise out of the game but they went and killed her off. I would love for them to figure out a way to bring her back. That would be awesome. I also hope that they implement a jump button.
I thought it weird that they just offed such a kew character. She was iconic to the game like Kratos is to God of War, can you imagine if you played some other character in GOW instead of Kratos? Thats just not kewl.
Maybe its a good thing their not doing everything like other games. Plus Ninja theory had a plan for 2 more full games already when they finished the first one. I think it'll be good, cause I had a lot of fun with that one chapter with kai.
she wouldn't need to master several martial arts to gain the Heavenly Sword... she already has it.
