A couple of days back, we posted a report saying that Maxis co-founder Jeff Braun was working with the folks at Oddworld Inhabitants to make a new Oddworld game. Well, we've got additional confirmation of a new Oddworld game in the works, courtesy of Lorne Lanning, the president of Oddworld Inhabitants.

According to the Game Industry report, Lanning confirmed the earlier news but didn't provide other details. "I can confirm that we're working with Jeff on Oddworld stuff," notes Lanning, "but that's all I can say at this time."

The development of a new Oddworld game is good news, to say the least. That being said, here's to hoping the devs come out with more details soon.
