They said exactly the same about MGS2 (I was on the forums at the time). And then, after the PS2 version was released, the so-called impossible happened, Konami announced MGS2 will be coming to the XBox, and it did.
And before you talk about sales, the XBox version didn't sell as well as the PS2 version because there were FAR fewer XBox consoles than PS2 consoles (and always has been).
Hence I think there are enough clues around to suggest that MGS4 on the 360 is very likely to happen, but it will not be announced until the PS3 version is released (or just before release).

PS3 is a theater, and MGS4 will debute on it, after a few months, it will be on the 360, which he called a DVD player. So in actual terms, he confirmed it back then, just as new films come out in the theater, a few months later they are released on DVD for people to watch at home.

Well this year I plan on getting Uncharted, Ratchet + Clank, Haze, Warhawk, Madden and NBA Live, Heavenly Sword, GTA 4. I told you guys about this article, and most of you thought I was just making things up. Kojima may have said it was an exclusive, but he probably meant timed exclusive and said exclusive just so people would buy the ps3. If he were to tell people it was a timed exclusive then those people who would have bought a ps3 just for mgs4 would have probably reconcidered, thus he is stretching the truth to help sony a little bit.
When the real truth is, it doesnt matter if Kojima says he wants it exclusive or not. The article that states this says that a non-Kojima team is working on the port, so Kojima doesnt really have a hand in it anymore. They also said at E3 that UT3 was going to be exclusive (and not timed exclusive), so your point is moot.

I told you guys about this article, and most of you thought I was just making things up. Kojima may have said it was an exclusive, but he probably meant timed exclusive and said exclusive just so people would buy the ps3. If he were to tell people it was a timed exclusive then those people who would have bought a ps3 just for mgs4 would have probably reconcidered, thus he is stretching the truth to help sony a little bit.
When the real truth is, it doesnt matter if Kojima says he wants it exclusive or not. The article that states this says that a non-Kojima team is working on the port, so Kojima doesnt really have a hand in it anymore. They also said at E3 that UT3 was going to be exclusive (and not timed exclusive), so your point is moot.

Well, given the fact that it IS posted in official xbox magazine, yes. BUT at the same time, it was posted by the auther who goes by the name of Mole. Here is some background info for you on the Mole...
He speculated that DMC4 was going multiplat 2 whole months before the announcement.
He told us of Splinter Cell: Convictions being an xbox exclusive about 3 weeks before Ubisoft released their statement.
He dug up info on the chatpad for 360 users, pre release of any official info.
He was all over the UT3 delay for 360 owners.
You mentioned Banjo Kazooie, he told us of it around the same time that Rare was bought, waaay before an actual official announcement that a new BK game was in the works.
And now he has given us news on MGS4 being ported by a non-Kojima-led team, and that it will pretty much only be a timed exclusive for PS3.

Well, given the fact that it IS posted in official xbox magazine, yes. BUT at the same time, it was posted by the auther who goes by the name of Mole. Here is some background info for you on the Mole...
He speculated that DMC4 was going multiplat 2 whole months before the announcement.
He told us of Splinter Cell: Convictions being an xbox exclusive about 3 weeks before Ubisoft released their statement.
He dug up info on the chatpad for 360 users, pre release of any official info.
He was all over the UT3 delay for 360 owners.
You mentioned Banjo Kazooie, he told us of it around the same time that Rare was bought, waaay before an actual official announcement that a new BK game was in the works.
And now he has given us news on MGS4 being ported by a non-Kojima-led team, and that it will pretty much only be a timed exclusive for PS3.

I am a PS3 gamer, but I have a brain. Even if only 10% of 360 gamers wanted to buy it, that could mean up to 1,000,000 worldwide sales. If you want to cut costs an localize only to English you could still top 500,000 sales pretty easily.
With four or more times the installed base right now a 360 version could easily make as much money as a PS3 version. Even if the installed bases were equal you probably couldn't justify ignoring 360 at this point. PS3 fans shouldn't expect any third party title developed in the next two years to stay exclusive, and maybe not even after that. It just doesn't make business sense.
It doesn't take a "mole" to figure this out, it doesn't even require a "source" other than sales figures.

If a game hasn't been announced for another console (yet), then when asked, everyone is going to keep denying it. This ALWAYS happens, and has done so for many games where the rumours were later proven to be true (DMC4, VF5, Assassin's Creed, UT3, etc...).
What do you think was going to happen with MGS4? That they'll ask Kojima about it and he would say - "Yes, after the PS3 version, MGS4 will appear on the 360...DOH! I mean...No... it's exclusive to the PS3, I'm not developing a 360 version, another team is...DOH...I mean no-one is".
They're not stupid you know :), they will keep saying 'NO' until an official announcement is made (if the rumours are true).

it's like pokemon,take it off the gameboy and it can't sell.

Kojima said that all of his time is devoted just to this game; at this point it would be impossible for him to put it on 360 even if he changed his mind and would be a waste of money trying to get it to work. It should stay a Playstation 3 exclusive.

MGS2 was BETTER on the XBox than the PS2 last gen...better EXCEPT for the rain, which really effected the framerate. Other than the way rain was implemented, the XBox version was better. And sales were lower simply because there were far less XBox consoles than PS2 consoles, and it was released much later, when gamers who wanted to play MGS2 had probably already bought a PS2.
