The news of the delay of PS3 launch date in PAL territories spread like a wildfire creating a loud buzz, not only in the gaming universe but also in the stock market. If you remember, Sony announced with glitz that PlayStation 3 will be available just in time for the holiday season. But with the news of the delay, Sony has the fans disappointed...

The guy goes at the end of the video "Sony is losing the war". Really, the console hasn't come out yet. I know its a blow to Sony in those countries, but who can say what happens when it finally launches. Like the saying goes, the "may have won the battle, but not the war". The war has yet to be seen in its fullest, aka all consoles are out on the market together for at least one year.

>"here in the uk i don't see 360's aroudn much"

Then you must be blind (...blinded by fanboyism perhaps ;)).

I ALSO live in the UK, and 360s are prominent in EVERY Games store and department you visit. Where are the Game stores in the UK that YOU go into where you don't see 360s?

In the UK, the 360 is selling very well despite your opinions of the console, and will probably have a good Christmas due to the PS3 delays.

 » Not Sony's fault

Sad to see that Sony's losing its fans when it's mostly the companies who're not producing mass amounts of their product that Sony needs for the PS3. I myself still support Sony, it's not their fault. Even though it's already been almost a year (or already a year) since the 360's launch, giving me enough time to see how it is, I still wouldn't wanna buy one and wouldn't support it, seems like a money's waste. Hopefully Sony's companies can get back on track on production and give the fans what they want.

» I already expect the delay!

i already expected the delay. actually i was predicting it will get delay until next year (just for a cusion) because they haven't start building the PS3 console last month. i still believe that the PS3 will win this console war as long as they won't make the same mistake MS did on launch day (console defects).

PS2 is making huge sales against XBOX and XBOX 360...so don't panic guys. There are a lot of PS2 games to play while waiting. You might not get a PS3 on launch day but for sure you will have it by the end of the year. Buying a NEXT GEN is a huge investment, so better think twice before buying a XBOX 360 just because you can't wait.

You should see all the options as a game consumer. It doesn't mean the first Next Gen console (XBOX 360) that comes out in the market is the BEST! If you had waiting this long, i think it won't be bad to wait a little more. As what all XBOX fans boys are saying..."Heck PS3 is expensive"....well well if you lived in EUROPE this is your chance to save more money now that the launch day was moved to march 07.

Again, there's a lot games that came out and will be release for the PS2 this year. Here are some of them:

- Yakuza
- Rogue Galaxy
- Final Fantasy XII
- Suikoden V
- Madden 2007
- NBALIVE 2007

 » does it matter

the ps3 wont have any regional code so you could play a Japan ps3 in the UK with all your UK games and dvds. it wont matter. plus you can get it cheaper and faster then the US. just order it. although it will be sold out and you still might not see it till 2007 anyway. Im pritty sure the ps3 will have a language selection. pick your language and play your games.

» Getting the xbox 360 instead?

I can understand people wanting to buy the Xbox360 instead now.

And don't say "learn to have some patience"

Those who have been waiting for the PS3 HAVE HAD PATIENCE. EXTREME PATIENCE. Those wanting to buy the PS3 have probably had enough and are through with waiting.

This isn't the FIRST delay the PS3 has had.

lol. Dude, if you think the 360 is a waste, does that make the PS3 a whopping $200 more of a waste? It does in my eyes. I mean, whats so much different about them? Give me some good reasons.

 » patience

to those morons who say they have had enough patience need to stfu, patience has nothing to do with the ps3. Sure if your a loser whos considering getting an xbox360, then you have little patience. The ps3 will come out whenever it comes out. Ill wait 2 years for the ps3, i dont give a f*. In my opinoin the xbox360 didnt start the next gen console era, the ps3 will. you xbox360 fanboys will eat your words when the ps3 gains momentum and crushes the xbox360 in the long run. Dont get it twisted, just because some gay little hippies come on here and say that they wont pay 600 bucks and that they are tired fo waiting, doesnt mean that people wont buy it. This people who post comments here dont represent the entire population. There are plenty of sony supporters out there, most I would say with the sense not to stoop down low to fanboy level by ranting and raving on websites while simoultaneously jerking off to kiddy porn. I just have to say that the ps3 will be on top, again.
