A post at PS3News.com reveals that the folks from the GODS @ Paradox have released Tiger_Woods_PGA_Tour_07_USA_PS3-PARADOX - the last remaining USA PS3 title that currently needed dumping. For those interested, the size is 6.85 GB (7,365,525,504 bytes). While we obviously can't host the file here, what we found really interesting were following details they posted in their nfo.

Loading... - Image 1The NFO Files reveals that PDX haven't had the time to examine FW 1.5 yet. Their NFO Files states:

sPECIAL nOTE:

Stop nagging about loaders - it will come if and when its ready
Now sod off and let us beta test it !

While most are hopeful that the supposed BETA testing for the ISO loader won't take long, there is speculation that nothing will be released publicly until after the European PS3 release on March 23, 2007.

We'll keep you updated on developments regarding this as soon as more details become available. Stay tuned.

 » I dont know...

Even if they got an .ISO loader up and running on the PS3, it wouldnt last long. The PS3 doesnt let you do stuff such as play online or even log into your online account if there's an update available. Those features become, and remain, locked untill the PS3 is updated. This would mean that people would have to choose between never updating their system and loading ISOs, and updating the system and using the PS3s' features. I personally would choose to use the PS3s' features instead of playing ripped games.

It's fake they should release a emulator for now and let the people test it.....

Anyways maybe its real!I Hope

This is most likely real. There testing it first. Because they know what there doing. There can be bugs that make your PS3 a nice shiny brick.

 » Piracy

Naturally QJ.net does not encourage piracy, therefore we do not assist you in troubleshooting your backup games.

However an exploit of this type is big news (See Devhook for PSP). Even if the possible exploit does allows you to play your legally owned backup copies, it does not confirm that QJ believes piracy is acceptable or condones it in any fashion.

A final note...
Legal backups (a personal copy) != Piracy (shared "personal" copies)

» Call it what you want QJ NET STAFFERS...

When you write a news article that makes a sentences implying that you would like to host the files, but can't - that's giving off the impression that you're a bunch of pirates just trying not to get into trouble.

You're seriously adding to the trouble. I doubt that everyone knew that there was only one game not dumped and available for download on the net illegally. With your article. They now know.

News or just plain spreading piracy. I've made my conclusion - as have many others. Call it what you want, you're still full of it.

Re: Aces In The Palm - 2007-01-27
 » i dont agree

all there saying is they cant host the file.
people that cant dump the files but do own tiger woods 07 should legally be able to download this file for their own use (backup)
do you see them telling you to download it.
i dont.
its illegal to host and thats all that they are stating.
my ps2 is modded and my psp is homebrew enabled yet i can give visual proof that i own
legally every backup game i have (except being australian i downed GTA:VCS before it hit our shores and still bought a copy on release, although save files werent compatible so i still play ISO version through USB)
i dont beleive QJ advocate piracy even though some of the tools assist it.
its up to the individual to do the right thing.
but then some of the stuff ive seen BR disks go through and still play on you tube, makes me wonder if backups will be even nessesary.
they seem like a very durable disk.

not to be negative but playing isos in psp is cool because i have like atleast 5 games to take around me but with a ps3 able to play burn games isn't really good because the whole idea of running games on a memorycard/hard drive on the ps3 really doesn't seem worth it.

PSP
.Many games on the go
.Faster loading times
.Don't have to bring with me many actual games with me

PS3
.My PS3 will be in only one spot
.Loading times for PS3 games are okay(well for me atleast)
. System and games are in my room so its okay to have actual game

If they can hack the ps3 like the PSP then it would work. personally I'd rather not buy games. Also there was a program that ran on your pc that would connect your xbox and ps2 to an independent server. I forget what it was called but it was fairly popular.
I bought a ps3 with FW 1.10 Beat Resistance The First time around(Great Game) and I reboxed it up and haven't touched it and won't until the system is hacked and Team Xecuter Releases The Hyper Drive. Updating Your FW IS STUPID.

 » QJ Smarten Up...

When you have people posting in this comment section things like "personally I'd rather not buy games." then you've messed up and posted something that you really shouldn't have.

As for those who think that they will be able to play ps3 games without having to pay for them. Good for you, you're a thief. Also, try playing them online. If you can play all these online then it would be a miracle - that would mean that you could run any damn program that hacks that firmware... and Sony would be ready for that - they aren't going to let the online experience be completely ruined by cheats and thieves.

Everyone that steals a game - pays for it later in life. Karma isn't everyone's guidance - but I know the difference.

Somewhere, CEOs are sitting around with more money than they know what to do with as we sit around, wasting our lives thinking there's no way we could ever be in that position, so we might as well be a tool to society to bet by, and play some video games to numb the pain. I know this because I'm one of those kids.

I completely agree with kristian. All i used to hear over at the psp blogs were QJ doesnt support piracy but all i ever read on the psp blog was stuff about devhook iso loaders and custom firmware so you can load your 3.xx firmware games off of your memory stick. It doesnt make much sence to me!

PSP -> sucks
PSP(hacked)-> Great!
Reasons?: Fasterloading, I can use it without restrictions of normal FW, I don't have to carry stupid %*#($@# UMDs around, and I can even run emulators on it~
Sorry, but I don't think the greatest thing about it is the ability to pirate the games, because if you've ever used torrents...the connection drops... it goes like 10kbs... and well if you're the only one there... 0kbs. There's your sense.

   Re: Joe (Unregistered) - 2007-01-27
» to: heres why, and the bottom to others

if those are the speeds ur getting than either ur internet sux(dial up/dsl) or ur using a *****ty site, i use a good site(not gonna say it here) and get between 60 - 200 kbps or at worst 30 kbps and thats with older torrents that are less seeded.

and i personally think an iso loader is a wonderful idea for a ps3, because im not rich and blowing 600 dollars on a ps3 leaves me with no money for games, but iv got a good isp so why not download them, the way i see it is, if its ready available, like some on is giving it to you( p2p file "sharing") than its wrong NOT to take it. and who really cares if whether QJ supports piracy, they didnt post any illigal files, they just said there out there, to me thats perfectly legal.
   by YSNP (Unregistered) - 2007-01-27
 » Come on, people.

Just because they're talking about ISO loaders doesn't mean they're condoning privacy. The only reason I ever used an ISO on my PSP was for games that I had backed up, to increase it's portability. The need for an ISO loader for the PS3 is rather nil, but there ARE people out there that would only have it for legal use.

Piracy means to share a backup file
so they won't buy the retail game anymore.

backup means a copy of your retail file
that can be use for future use.

i will just say that:

I bought every game in the world for the 360, ps3, and psp and left them in another country. and thats why i need backups of every game for the 360, ps3, and psp.

so i guess im safe. YEAH~~~

» QJ net is doing nothing wrong, but...

I think most PSP users have used the devhook or other similar programs to play games they don't own. Mainly because it's easy, you're feeling lazy or some other excuse. If I buy a game, then get a backup and then, when I sell the game... do I destroy the backup just because I don't have the game? Did you? It's so easy to bend the rules juuust a bit like, " I just test the game if it's good and then buy it". The game is good, you keep on playing and suddenly you're already finished and there is no point in buying anymore. Just like me with LocoRoco. After that I realized that fck it, if I can't get myself to buy good games, because it's easier to download some stuff, I decided to upgrade my launch bought PSP from excellent 1.5 to 3.0. No more homebrew gaming for me, but at least now I want to and desire to buy some new games. No more do I feel that I have to sort of pretend to be a saint in the forums saying "I don't like piracy, I only use it for homebrew games (which usually suck)". It's more expensive to be honest, but I don't mind it anymore. You get some bonuses with using exploits in the system, but at the same time it makes it more tempting to do what's wrong.
And who in the hell back's up their games? Mine have lasted an eternity. Always.

I'll stop the preaching and get back to playing. This is just my opinion. Don't get offended. Thanks.

   by Dan (Unregistered) - 2007-01-27
» Screw the ISO loader we need the exploit

As for you people saying we should run all our homebrew via linux.

Did you know that everything is done in framebuffer mode so we have no rsx acceleration.

So think about a computer with no graphics card, yay we can finnaly make homebrew without exploits but we are limited up the ass.

*****in bullshyt, this is what kills consoles and devs.

give the console AT LEAST a *****in year to build up its stature earn some money, and gain its full potential before you start killing it.

this is how the psp died and this is gonna b the end of the ps3 too.

devs dont want to developt games just to have them bootlegged for free, therefore if this happens this early, they will just give us all a big ***** you.

some of you may be thinking, its ps3, devs have to develop for it no matter what. thats their decision to make, not yours.

if you spent years creating a wonderful masterpiece, and someone jus came one day and stole it, wouldnt u be *****in pissed.

but at leats if ppl r gonna bootleg a game, buy it afterwards.

its liek they say over at RELOADED.

yea when games are 50gb games people are not going to waste a week downloading it then buying a bigger laptop harddrive to put it on the ps3.

Hell i would rather go in to the store and buy the game instead of waiting a rediculas amount of time.

But my point on we need the exploit stands.

I really did owned a lot of ps1/ps2 games. Until my little sisters thought it would funny to mutilate them

Pat, as for the psp i bought 3 games and played 2 via isos's. Then i sold the psp because it was a hunk of crap.

Now as for the homebrew that linux can't handle. How come some of the emu's run choppy? RSX power would be useful.

 » ISo!

How would ISO loading times differ from the blu-ray? Cause sony could make a scheme to make games more playable from paying for downloading ISOs. However a 8gb downlod wouldn't be very fun at all :(!!!

Like UMD loading times on PSP was terrible!! Especially for WWE games??

:)! But loading from memorystick soooo much quicker! Makes me happy!

I Suppose loading on a console isn't that important compared to a portable console. Oh well!

I'm just waiting for a redesign for the PS3 slimmer, haha maybe in a few years. I'll old then :(!

It's going to come, sooner or later. There's enough people that rather not pay $60 for a game. When there's a will, there's a way.

I'm not even going to buy a PS3 til much later down the road, when I'm reassured the 60nm Cells are in place (supposedly in productions now). But I will say 3.03 OE-C is awesome. The emulators rock (CPS2/CPS1/MAME/SNES/NES/Genesis). I have over 100 games on my PSP... wherever I go. Not to mention the ISO folder......
