PS3 80Gb bundle - Image 1 PS3 80Gb bundle - Image 2

Two images of new bundles for the PS3 have surfaced for Europe, each costing € 399. Supposedly coming out May 29, there's one for inFamous - it's your average 80GB bundle, but I wonder if the copy of the game includes the Uncharted 2 beta code. Seeing a bundle for Sucker Punch's game isn't all that surprising, considering how Sony's been full throttle with marketing on this PS3 exclusive.

The other bundle (also 80GB, scheduled for May 15) is for Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty. What's different here is that, probably to make up for the game's budget price, the bundle includes two controllers instead of just one. (As to why they couldn't wait to release an R&C Future: A Crack in Time bundle, it's a mystery.)

No official confirmation for these yet though - much less confirmation of them arriving stateside. SCEE has, however, issued a statement about these bundles surfacing online, and what did they say? The usual: "We haven't announced any of those bundles I'm afraid. I can't comment on the other territories either."

Just for once I would like to see Sony say, "Yep, confirmed" or, "Wow, thats some good information. You beat us to the punch." I suppose it's asking a lot.

have co-op? If not then why 2 controllers?

Game has no multiplayer at all. That bundle having two controllers makes no sense.

I don't see what's so hard about Sony just confirming crap that we know is true.

Example: Kill Everything 3 gets spotted in store shelves, it's an exclusive, but Sony is like "Nope, we don't comment on rumors and speculation."

Are you retarded? You should read before you post. The game is a budget game, a PSN title that then got a Blu-ray release but was still priced low. Since its so cheap they (presumably) throw in a second to control to add weight to this un confirmed bundle. Wouldn't make sense to charge the same price for inFamous as a PSN game.

And yea it would make more sense for them to wait for the next Ratchet and Clank game I think. Also Sony not confirming something wouldn't really affect anything but them not saying anything will probably get more people talking about it and then when its confirmed you get more news rolling out on all the blogs. Its a marketing ploy, get used to it.

yea the elite bundle is hot but why did they choose infamous for a bundle i would of done killzone 2 as a bundle would of sold alot more that way.

They did make a Killzone 2 bundle. I'm pretty sure. And the box for it was incredibly attracting. I loved that box. I wanna buy that BOX. Just the box.

And I've never even played Killzone. :P
