Heavy Weapons Guy - Image 1European gamers currently playing The Orange Box have long complained about a myriad of issues plaguing the Sony PlayStation 3 version of the game. Publisher Electronic Arts has heard enough whines and moans, forcing its hand to clean up its act.

A 128MB update has been released to bring The Orange Box to version 1.10 this week. Unfortunately, there's no changelog accompanying the update to guide us on what improvements have supposedly been made.

The Orange Box for the PS3 is a well-rated game in a lot of reviews, but frame rate issues have somewhat marred the 2007 standout. Problems like friends not appearing in lists and accounts not registering on the EA server have also been cited by players.

We'll update you as soon as the official patch documentation hits the news scene. In the meantime, feel free to tell us what changes you've experienced if you already have the update.

That's nice, now release it in the US.

I have the PS3 version and the only problem I had was with the TF2 servers randomly crapping out at times, and random long load times which made no sense.

» QJ just deleted my comment... -_-

I just gave QJ information that the patch wasn't just for Europe and they deleted my post. Great job, QJ.

I sent them a news tip telling them that they should have corrected the article, but all they did was remove the word "European" from the title, and didn't even change the article to say it was for the US!

 » where is it?

This patch is US only, it hasn't been released in europe yet but will be soon (according to the official Valve user forums)...

EA mentiones the patch and update-lists on their support pages (Europe AND U.S.), but there is no clear way how to get this update to your system...

so if U.S. residents and us folks in europe aren't able to find the patch... where the **** is it.
