Patent-pending: SCEA files to trademark Resistance 2 - Image 1Still hoping for confirmation that Insomniac Games is working on a sequel to the PlayStation 3's Resistance: Fall of Man? Thanks to a short visit to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office website, this answer appears to be a resounding yes.

The office indicates that Sony Computer Entertainment America had filed to trademark Resistance 2 last week on December 18. What further indicates that Resistance 2 may indeed be RFoM's successor is that was classified under Computer Games Software and Video Game Software.

No other information was released unfortunately such as when the game may be getting released, or how far along its development is. Visit us again in the event more information is released.
