QJ readers Dan, Carton, and Jeff bring word that PlayStation Underground has sent out invites for the Beta test for the much hyped PlayStation Home. If you did get the invite then you should be given a link that leads to a sign up page to be selected for the PlayStation Home Beta Trial.

Reports have said that if you didn't get an invite it is likely because you didn't register your Sony PlayStation. If you want to register you Sony Product, this link might be useful: http://www.us.playstation.com/Registration/Product.

We do, however, have to note that the details on the specific criteria for giving out invites is still unclear. PS3Mods notes that rumor is that only 15,000 users will be selected for the trial.

The image in the upper right is a glimpse of what the page that the invite leads to look like. If you're curious about it and you wish to observe more, the "read" link below should bring you to a sign up page for the Home Beta Test. As the commenters have noted it is unlikely you will find it useful. Anyhow, the link to the sign-up was had via PS3 mods, which in turn found on the official PlayStation 3 forums.

Not really useful, but still good for a preview, and still worth the ogle, especially if you're touchy about trial agreements.
