GTA IV - Image 1 Nine months after it was first released in Japan, Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto IV for the PlayStation 3 (game also on Xbox 360) is now to be sold under the PlayStation: The Best budget line in the country.

Priced at JP¥ 3,990 ( US$ 41), it is expected to come out on August 27, 2009. This actually comes in good timing, especially following the forecast of Todd Mitchell of Kaufman Bros. Equity Research that there will be two more new GTA IV DLC episodes landing by 2010, another GTA for the PS2 also on the same year, and a new GTA V title by 2011.

With that much iterations lined up for the franchise, the latest offering being put on a "Greatest Hits" section of sorts is just the right way to go for the perfect hype build up.
