In Insomniac Games' latest tweet, they hint of some form of Ratchet & Clank content from Media Molecule headed for LittleBigPlanet. On the outset, it looks like a level pack... and then some: "lbp levells coming, r&c content done, coming soon hopefully, up next for mm, big pack, bigger than mgs even." Yeah, leave it up to Twitter's tweeting maximum of 160 characters for giving us announcements that are a bit too vague. Let's parse that message, shall we?

Two new bundles for the PS3 have surfaced - both of which are 80GB units. There's one for inFamous and another Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty. Not quite surprised with the inFamous bundle (I'm just wondering if the copy of the game includes the Uncharted 2 beta code too), but what's interesting with the R&C pack is that it's got two controllers. Contrary to what was previously announced during E3 08, Sony has now clarified that Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty won't be arriving to the UK in Blu-ray disc form. This is unfortunate because everywhere else in Europe, it's already gotten its release on both DLC and BD formats.

The excellent Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction by Insomniac Games is about to be supplanted by the latest installment in the series. Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty will drop later this month both as a Blu-ray and as a PSN release. Get ready for pirate-themed laughs and platforming once it hits. More after the jump.

A sequel to Ratchet & Clank Future was indeed confirmed a few days ago during Sony's E3 press conference. But now, we got some new info from Europe: while it was previously announced that the game is headed to the PSN (for US$ 15, man, that's a steal!), we now get confirmation that Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty will also experience what WarHawk and GT5 Prologue had - a Blu-ray disc version.
