Over the past few days, PlayStation 3 owners got the blues when it was rumored that Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360) was going to be a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360. No need to feel down anymore because that buzz has thankfully been debunked.

Sven of the Capcom forums pacified what was becoming a tense scene as PS3 supporters lit up their boards. He wrote, "The assertion is false. RE5 is a multiplatform release that fits with our oft-stated cross-platform strategy."

It's hard to blame PS3 owners feeling a little bit salty with how Capcom's been treating the platform as of late. With the loss of Devil May Cry 4 exclusivity and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix's beta exclusivity going to the Xbox 360, it's clear why some are getting a wee bit anxious.

Look I realise that you need to make money with advertising but can the first post please not advertise "404 Page not Found", "Network Access Is Denied", Error 404 Page not Found" and "How Is Diabetes Monitored"? Please - FFS!!! I mean WTF?

Anyway - if RE5 for the PS3 get's delayed like Alone in the Dark was then I'm gonna can console gaming and go back to pure PC...in the end you get cheaper games, cheaper hardware accessories and more control with better graphics. Seriously - when I pay +R750 for a console game I want it at the same f$cking time please...

You want some proof? Ok - Assassins creed not only runs faster on my PC (quicker load times) but it also looks way better...PC gaming dead? Sure - just like my ass is now the new portal to heaven.

PC gaming will NEVER be dead. it is a kick ass video game player. The graphics were ALWAYS better than consoles, and just recently consoles caught up.

i said it about square and ill say it about capcom. Playstation basically made capcom wat it is 2 day ( nintendo 2 back when they cared about good games on there systems)

are you serious?

1) Capcom was very succesfull before the playstation was ever made

2)It is more like Capcom helped Playstation become a succesfull system.

Don't kid yourself- specs alone do not sell systems- the games do.

examples
-Turbo Graphix 16
-3DO
-Neo Geo
-Jaguar
-XBOX

All of the system listed had far superior specs when compared to their competition, however they did not have the developer support and died.

And btw, developers want to make money. They developer games on the systems that they think will sell the most copies or the systems who "pays the expected sales difference" and buys exclusives.

Capcom is making money- don't kid yourself
