Resistance 2 Midnight Launch Event - Image 1November 4. Keep that date in mind if you want to be one of the first to get a copy of Resistance 2.

With their legion of Chimeras, Insomniac Games will be invading the the PlayStation Store in San Francisco's Metreon for their midnight launch event.

The event will start on the night of the 3rd, but the game won't officially be available till the 4th. If you come in early though, you can get your photo taken and plastered on the cover of your game.

The friendly folks from Insomniac will be present to sign your copies, including president and CEO Ted Price. If you also plan to get the Collector's Edition, it's also hinted that you'll get it for cheaper at the event. If that's not enough though, freebies will also be given out.

November 7. That's another date you have to keep in mind. That's the first community day at Insomniac Games. You'll be able to test your l337ness against the dev team themselves, go on a studio tour, and participate in a panel discussion. You have to be 17 though. Follow the source link for more details.
