A poster named Npaean on the ScoreHero forums has recently posted a scan of what's supposed to be a release schedule for Rock Band (Xbox 360, PS3, PS2) DLC in March. The scan, which Npaean says was originally on GameFAQs, was supposedly taken from the March issue of OXM.

Rock Band - Image 1Anyway, here's a short list of what's on the scan:

  • March 4, 2008: Three-Pack Thrash
    • At The Gates - Blinded By Fear (master)
    • Evile - Thrasher (master)
    • Haunted - Shadow World (master)
  • March 11, 2008: Singles
    • Bad Company - Shooting Star (cover)
    • Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man (master)
    • Police - Message In A Bottle (master)
  • March 18, 2008: Three-Pack NIN
    • Nine Inch Nails - March of the Pigs (master)
    • Nine Inch Nails - The Collector (master)
    • Nine Inch Nails - The Perfect Drug (master)
  • March 25, 2008: Three-Pack Metal
Since we haven't got any confirmation about this DLC schedule yet, we're keeping this tagged as a rumor for now. The DLC lineup sure does look good, though. You can check out the scan by clicking on the source link below.

I definitely plan on getting the March 11 and 25 songs...still on the fence for the other two weeks though.
Once they start doing full album download I REALLY hope they do a Police one and a Rush one :)

» I understand the whole deal about not being able to get the masters, but

If a track is going to be a cover, can't it at least be a good one? Wrathchild and Supernaut are terrible songs

The NIN pack is good tho

   Re: yworob - 2008-02-01
» Ive never heard of most of these songs.

Other than Supernaut, Perfect Drug and Message in a Bottle Ive never heard any of them. Cant they get some better stuff. Where is the Led Zeppelin?

   Re: Master Chef - 2008-02-01
 » Led Zeppelin

Bands such as Zeppelin and Rolling Stones still have not given anyone permission to distribute their songs electronically, which is why you don't find them even on services like iTunes.

But there was a newspost a while ago, don't remember if it was regarding the next Rock Band, Rock Band DLC, or Guitar Hero 4, but a developer said they are pretty confident they are gonna get Zeppelin to sign on.

To the people who clicked the little sad face next to my comment, why? If you knew anything about Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath you'd know Wrathchild and Supernaut are indeed terrible songs. I can't count the Sabbath songs that are better than Supernaut on all my fingers and toes.

 » I am a huge Sabbath fan.

I saw them in concert during their reunion tour in '99 with Pantera opening for them. That was a kick a** show. There are probably about 15 to 20 songs by Sabbath that are better than Supernaut. By the way, how about some Pantera?
