The good news: an insider from Electronic Arts has squealed on the the company's expected launch date for the Europe port of Rock Band (PS3, PS2, Xbox 360).

So, when is the company's little bundle of team-based head-bangin' goodness arriving in the said territory? That's the bad news, sort of. Expect it to make landfall on March 6, 2008. Since this doesn't appear to be an official EA announcement, however, we advise users to take this news with a grain of salt.

On the lighter side, this should give the developers plenty of time to work out the game's bugs, including its much-criticized controller compatibility issues. Visit us again in case we can confirm the launch date.
