Excerpt from Official PlayStation Magazine - Image 1With the new set of video game sequels gearing up to hit the PlayStation 3, it looks like Sony is looking to reintroduce some of the classic titles from both the Grand Theft Auto and Street Fighter series to herald their respective followings.

This information was taken from an article posted on the Official PlayStation Magazine, which stated that Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto 2, and Street Fighter Alpha will soon be making an appearance as downloads on the PlayStation Network. An excerpt from the magazine can be found in the related image found in this article.

Whether this is true or not, it will certainly help bring the newer gamers into the fold by familiarizing them with the roots of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3, Xbox 360) and Street Fighter 4 titles.

Either way, we'll be sure to keep an eye out for any of the previously mentioned classic titles should they make their way on to the PSN. Keep coming back to this space for more updates as we get them.
