Rumored Sony Europe Release Dates for April-July 2008 - Home to be released in July? - Image 1

A pinch of salt will be handy with this one. Allegedly, release dates of the European Playstation Store for April up to July have been leaked from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE). From the looks of it, Playstation Home will finally see daylight this July.

Home, whose beta is also rumored to end in May, is just the top treat in a long list of goodies. SOCOM: Confrontation and a seemingly new Ratchet downloadable content, Ratchet: Quest for Booty, are also slated for July. April will host seventeen downloads including a Resistance 2 trailer and DLC packs for Lair (Diabolical Dragons) and Warhawk (Operation Broken Mirror), while May, on the other hand, will make way for Wipeout HD and Echochrome.

Not everything we read from the grapevine turns into wine but if anything, Sony will definitely prepare its big guns for the months leading up to July - and E3. So we're not taking away the possibility that this might be true. Click the image above for a higher resolution of the supposedly leaked line-up for our European friends.

This list sure seems real, but don't count on the dates being accurate. The entire pic is in Spanish (I saw the original version), and the dates could be for random regions in Spain and such. Here is the lnik to full pic guys : http://ft.mirror.waffleimages.com/files/14/140e7faf464bf04aa12e96618dd1ca0e96a4f898.jpg

More evidence that it is real though, is how it was quickly removed from the topic list when someone posted it on the official forums at us.playstation.com...

Come on sony end of may now july!!!!
This is just idiotic, Sony previewed home befor the release of ps3 in euro countries. Sony is really peeing people off with all this staggering. If sony had a working version of home before ps3 was released then they should have at least released a public beta for all by now. Why or what reason could this take so long?

In my honest opinion Home better be very very good indeed. After all it will have taken longer than nearly every game made so far appart from The Getaway. Thats if they are even still making the GETAWAY and have not dropped it and kept quiet.

Sick of waiting for :- Home
Sick of waiting for :- The Getaway

Come on Sony what's your comment.

It will be ready when it's ready. :)

Besides, isn't it better to have Home working great with most of the bugs sorted out before public release? Isn't better for Sony to release Home when they believe it's ready?

IMO, Sony are doing the right thing with Home. It's far too important to rush.
