" pes never had many leagues on any versions on the consoles and fifa 07 had a completly new physics engine exclusive to the next gen console out when it was released funnily enough it was the xbox 360 out then. samsung or some other company has developed 51gb hd discs so if the 360 had a hd drive it could fit in the 18gb easily.

why is it that 360 fanboys TRY to bring up relevant negatives to ps3(forced purchase of Blu-ray, bad system architecture and an even worse online strategy) and all ps3 fan boys do it is call people xbots and such? Oh yea its because anyone with half a brain and the money to buy a ps3 wouldnt buy one. Sony fanboys are either notoriously ignorant and to poor to buy a ps3 or there rich mommy/daddy went out and bought them one for Christmas. Time to wise up, your extra money was invested in a forced hd media format. I also find it funny that last years e3 ubisoft got payed to claim Assassins creed was only capable with the power/storage space the ps3 has and sony fanboys bought it and stood by it now that ubisoft is doing the same thing for microsoft(in a much more believable manner..they just dont want to work with the ps3 architecture) all the ps3 peeps freaked and called them liars/lazy and such. Seriously take a deep breath and pull sonys Kock out of anus, its been there far too long im sure its getting sore.

The only mention of 360 fanboys in your your post talks about the supposed crap they say. Then the rest of your post is about how much the PS3 sucks. You are a loser! I not only have a full brain and the money, but I am actually glad that I bought a PS3. I am sorry to rain on your parade but you deserve it.
You had just better hope that the cheapest BD player, which is also your consoles competition, doesn't flood the market with consoles purchased primarily for BD right now. Wouldn't that suck for you? That would give the game studios a huge PS3 market to sell to making much it more valuable to them to do so. Most of the lost exclusives that you 360 fanboys like to preach about are simply due to a smaller, and therefore less profitable, consumer base. They didn't teach you things like that in economy class? You don't start a company to lose money. You start a company to make it! When you are publicly shared your shareholders also demand it!
Keep bashing that which you fear because that is your only hope to keep it down. It is worth every penny I spent on it. I have no regrets whatsoever. Scratch that! I regret spending so much time responding to a loser like yourself because I did buy one.

I have both systems and they are great in their own way, I personally play 360 more as I like the online gaming on there, dont be fanboys, dont be fooled into stoopid arguments about 'BETTER THAN YOUR SYSTEM', have the brains to take in the facts and come up with rational conclusions. Have your opinion yes but have a well informed, rational and 'I'm older than 5' opinion.

Actually as of right now I own a 360(love it thus far although i dont play it THAT often) a wii(serious potential but i havent played it since i beat zelda) and my PC(core2duo e6600@3.2ghz, 2gig ddr 800 4-4-4-12 timing ram, 8800gtx@stock speeds and a raptor for all my games and what not. I will NOT say i dont own a next gen system and wont lie that i am a bit biased towards the x-box. Your whole statement about my "smokescreen"...wtf are you talking about what i said about x-box fan boys was hardly even negative. So how was it a smokescreen.
About your whole comment with the cheapest bd players being competition to the 360 and giving game studios a larger market to sell to. I think your confused, or i am, wouldnt a Blu ray player thats cheaper then the ps3 be a bad thing for the ps3? I mean it would make it so there a more viable bd player for less meaning less sales of ps3's due to it being the "cheapest" blu ray player. And really i worked in a gamestop for 3 years up until recently(terrible company never work for them btw) and the majority of people who would rave the ps3 as the greatest thing ever were exactly what i said they were, either too young to know any better or too ignorant and poor to afford it anyway. I used to be a primarily PC gamer also and still do play more than half of my games on my PC. But unlike you I see a whole lot of potential from this machine and they haven't broke the surface yet with what it can do.
So why don't you spend a few days researching all of the things related to these consoles and stop worrying about what you now think are awesome games because even future 360 games will improve from their current state. Take my word for it! This 7th generation of consoles is about far more than just games!

If Konami's putting all their development resouces into their soccer game, then I'm willing to bet they're doing the same w/ the MGS series for the ps3. Rockstar has a thing or two to learn from Konami (assuming that this story is true ... of course).

i've played pes for the like half of my life, and what really matters is playing with friends. each version do have improvements, and that's what makes the new gen better than its predecessor, especially gameplay and value added to the newer version.
btw IMO (flame me if u want) the most important thing for a console are the games developed for it. without them, they're just accessories.

I agree, when a game is basically ported across it does look rubbish, Pro Evo, Hitman, Godfather, all victims of being rushed and coming out like a pensioner at a kiss concert. And also, storage does make for a nasty issue, BUT, is it not about PROGRAMMING. textures take up alot of space yes, but sureley to make faces you dont need many TEXTURES. I cant tell you how many characters I've made look like me from the character creation screens on various games. All you need is basic backgrounds and the rest lies in programming.
Thus that should help on the storage front.

It will be better, no doubt about it. The same reason why the Ps2 version of PES 6 was better than X360 version (go check it out). Had more content, clubs, modes etc. It seems that one dual layer dvd is not enough for a full next gen PES game, with next gen graphics, textures and all the things a true next gen football game should have... So some compromises are inevitable.

GTA 4 and beyond is gna suck on 360. havin to restrict the freedom for developers to stick to 9GB. GTA4 is only newer version of GTA3 not San Andreas, that means if we expect another 2 more GTAs, then more space is required 4 stuff like all aircrafts, bigger island. IM RIGHT UR WRONG
Well Xbox needed the early release anyway otherwise they cud've had the time 2 chose a HD Disc to stick to 4 their games.

To think, all u idiots sayin its all gd with DVD9. lmao. Face it. Xbox360 is the 1 goin obsolete with its aging DVD player. Now thats as close to a dreamcast u can get. Nxt few years is trouble wen compressing games jus wont be enough.

each one of the consoles had their own strengths and weakness, their manufacturers too. for e.g, the marketing strategy applied by nintendo is by far the most successful this time, by exploiting on new ventures and market shares. but this is not comparing apple and apple if we wanted to compare it with muscle systems, i.e. 360 and ps3. IMHO the games are the ones that can truly unlock the true power. one simple example is the FFXII and Shadow of Colossus for ps2, where the game devs created something unimaginable for the machine.
although i do get frustrated by ps3 team for making such an immature decision by using the blu-ray without further market research. if they wanted to change the luxury status to commodity for the ps3, then they better do something about the pricing. of course the cost benefit analysis, such as CVP need to be taken into consideration, but without asking what the market really wants, then all will be in vain.
as for 360, the online play is one of the well structured so far for this generation, probably because of the infrastructure and experience gained for its predecessor. but if 360 really want to gain more market share, they have to give more attractive offer to the gamedevs, and become more open to new entries in the game developer's industry.
And to close the argument, IMHO the PES for ps2 is still the best, not for the graphics and eye candy, but the gameplay itself.

One game actually looks better on the BS3
