Late in October of last year, we put up a rumor post revealing that Sega will announce Skies of Arcadia 2 sooner or later.

It seems that the buzz was on the money as German site Sega Magazin reported that Sega will indeed be making such a move this year. This, according to their source close to Sega.

Planned for the Nintendo Wii, with a possible PlayStation 3 version as well, Skies of Arcadia 2 will try to revitalize Sega's RPG portfolio in this gaming generation. Details have been pretty scarce, though hints suggest that we could be seeing presentations by the time TGS 2008 arrives.

Yeah, it's not the most common sight to see a Wii-PS3 cross-platforming RPG, but we'll have to see it first to be converted into believers. Oh well, we guess that's something new to look forward to this year.
