Super Stardust HD - Image 1

Apparently, the redesign of the PlayStation Store is more than just visual appeal. There's currently a rumor circulating that once the revamped PS Store launches by middle April, it may bring with it a possible add-on for the popular Super Stardust HD from Housemarque.

Super Stardust HD is a downloadable game for the Sony PlayStation 3 anyway, so there's nothing splashy with a new add-on - or maybe not. Super Stardust HD is one of the listed games compatible for the new DualShock 3 controller for the PS3, so this just might be the add-on which will make Super Stardust HD fans forget the SIXAXIS controller.

Take note that this is just a rumor and should the gaming gods deem this untrue, be aware that updates for Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, Warhawk (Operation: Broken Mirror), Rock Band, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare are on the way once the PlayStation Store finishes its metamorphosis.

Much gratitude to sev1512 for the tip!

They'll forget about SIXAXIS controller, not SIXAXIS it's self. Kind of annoying reading forget the sixaxis when I'll be using it in the dualshock 3 controller.

Anyways cant wait for the PSstore redesign and hopefully the add-on does come. (Mgo beta ^_^)

 » Great to hear

Super Stardust HD is one of my favorites, so it's great news to hear that they may finally offer an extension of some sort to it. On the other hand, it appears that QJ has been smoking musty underwear again, as the "rumble update" they're referring to has been around since about early Feb. I think it was even reported on this very site, that at the same time Sony put the game up on the European site for the first time, they also quietly added an updated version to the USA site. I had to re-download the entire SSH from my list on the store, but once I did and ran the installer: it was rumble-enabled (and it retained all my scores, etc., even though I was technically installing the game 'on top of itself').

Only thing I want from stardust is
- Online Co-op
- Skip Song ( For when one of those songs you don't really want to listen to popsup in the background )
- Online Co-op
- Online Co-op
- Online Co-op
- Online Co-op

Did I say I wanted Online co-op ?

 » There is skip song

All you gotta do is press the start button > go to audio options > Soundtrack > and click your next song ^_^.

And I'm not sure if you mentioned this but I think it'd be kool if it had some Online Co-op action going on.
