The 3 companies (IBM, Sony and Toshiba) in cooperation, in hope of getting Cell processor heated up, has released the software development kit (SDK).

This SDK is tweaked for developing application under Linux. A manual longer than 1,000 pages has been bundled.

The official website of the SDK is [here]. You can click on the “CBE SDK for x86” section to download the needed packages for development.

Hope the homebrew scene can grow with the help of this SDK :)

Someone should start work on X360 emulator for PS3.

That would be cool! To be able to play the 2or3 games worth playing on a 360 will remove all reasons to buy a 360.

Oh? play 2 or 3 good games of the 360 and forget about all the sucky ones that will come out for ps3!

i love that idea.

I smell a new PSP prototype far around the block probably using a miniaturized version of the CELL chip.
