 After a couple of months of teasing, Slant Six and SCEA have finally given out a release date for SOCOM: Confrontation's patch 1.30: today, January 9.The update will go live at 5 AM EST. The SOCOM: Confrontation servers will also go down at that time for about 1 to 2 hours. If everything goes by without a hitch, you should be back playing the game online by 7 AM EST. And now, the not-so-good news: all player stats will be wiped once the server is updated. This will be done to "resolve incorrect player stats and to correct the stats for the Trophy support". It's half a gig, im sure it will fix alot, but ya....there is always room for more bugs.
It's the nature of things, especially nowadays...just get used to it. It happened for Gears, it happens for pretty much any highly complex game....you fix one thing but other things pop up.
I put the game down after a week of hardcore playing....decided it was not worth my time to get used to a game that obviously had alot of big updates comming to it, let alone trophies. So I am glad I invested my time into other things and now can actually play SOCOM and not be so frustrated....hopefully :P
