In another preview of the upcoming SOCOM: Confrontation 1.30 patch, Director of Development Seth Luisi noted the addition of a previously unannounced but very welcome feature to be included: D-pad lean-in controls.

People familiar with this game already know that the motion sensor-controlled lean is flexible but rather tricky to get used to. This in mind, they thankfully added the ability to lean quickly using just the D-pad. Players can switch between SIXAXIS tilt-control and D-pad controls fairly easily mid-battle. Check out they video provided below to see this in action:



They also included in the preview a video of the new transparent scoreboard. Apparently, thanks to feedback from the SOCOM community, the ability to see through the scoreboard and move around while looking at it was finally added (very useful while in the middle of a war zone).

Good to see they are making these changes...

I bought the game, super happy with the headset....and very happy with how socom COULD play...been busying myself with LBP while they fix it, then once it's patched up I will play it alot.....
