SOCOM US NAvy SEaLS confrontation - Image 1We finally know when we'll get the anticipated online shooter SOCOM: U.S. Nave SEALs Confrontation! The game is dropping on the 14th of October and it'll come in three versions.

The following are the forms of the game you can choose from:
  • US$ 59.99 version- SOCOM: US Navy Seals Confrontation with newly-designed Bluetooth headset and Behind the scenes video.
  • US$ 39.99 Blu-ray version - comes in a disc with the Behind the Scenes video. Headset not included.
  • US$ 39.99 PSN version- order online, never leave the house, and just download. You won't get the headset nor the video, though.
Great stuff. Are we seeing some competition for Warhawk on the PS3 online field? Perhaps. But we'll have to play it to believe it.

i've already got four headsets (bluetooth from warhawk, bluetooth for phone, and 2 wired) but i think im gonna have to get that socom headset as well. if its as good as they say it is, it should be worth it.

im definently gettin the first one concidering its only $60 WITH the #1 bad@ss headset of all time (for its price too),and a behind the scenes video witch i am also stoked about....

man o man o man does the ps3 dominate... the ps3 (mark my words)-the ps3 will become legendary and remembered forever for all that has went down (not leterally) in the ps3's decade of Kingship.

ps3=300 spartans xbox 360=persian empire (gates bieng xerxies)

think about that story for a sec then choose your side. :)

To be honest the PS3 just isn't getting the recognition what it deserves because it came out too late (big Mistake) and everyone knows that it's a more powerful system and is an actual next generation console but I guess only Japan sees that

Socom is gonna be the ***** online(free by the way) and offline

I don't think so. I would rather have a reliable console over one which STILL has hardware issues and could die at any given point because of bad design.

If Sony also rushed the PS3 out, we might have inferior HDMI compatibility too, meaning that we wouldn't be able to experience all of the uncompressed audio options available in games and films because they're not compatible with HDMI v1.2.

Ive known this for a long time and anyone else that searched the EB Games site over a month ago. But still informative, just have to find out how much a separate bt would cost >

I was real disapointed when I learned there was no single player mode. I would rather pay $60 for just the game then have no campaign missions.

Anyone else think it's weird buying a game off the PSN like Prologue, Warhawk, or soon to be Socom, when you could buy it in the store for the same price? I would think a virtual copy would be significantly cheaper to distribute...

Maybe i'm just old school, but I enjoy a case+game manual.
