It looks like Ascaron Entertainment has a welcome surprise for PS3 owners. Aside from a PC and Xbox 360 release, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel will also be getting a PlayStation 3 iteration, coming this Fall. According to the press release we received, this new version of Sacred 2 will come with enhanced graphics, 5.1 Channel Dolby Surround Sound, and drop-in cooperative play, as well as other multiplayer gaming modes available through an internet connection. A pair of gamers will also be able to use shared-screen functions for fighting using a single console. Furthermore, your character can be saved and used in all the different variations of the game, whether it be a single-player or multiplayer affair. This allows your character to gain loot and experience through the various modes, so you can max out your main character and play with other folks at the same time. Notes said Heiko tom Felde, Managing Director of Ascaron Entertainment, Role-playing game enthusiasts have always been strongly represented on the PlayStation platforms, and we are delighted to offer a version of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel for the PlayStation 3. We’ve been working on this version for more than a year, and can now proudly reveal it and its new features, to an entirely new audience. |

you know, games are not alway about graphics. I played the first Sacred and it was fun.

I never said they were. I just expressed my opinion of the game's visuals in their current form.
