Don't use the gun. Simple as that. The game is supposed to be fun, the gun like every other weapon(besides Dragon Sword) is optional to play with. I actually think the gun is cool if implemented and controls are well done.

u can't seem 2 get enough of those FPS game i bet.....not every game should b play wid guns...........look at RE5 they screw it up wid the second half of the game by throwing every fricking zombie wid a gun......all of a sudden it felt like Call of Duty and ruin the Resident Evil feel to the game.............the fricken worst part in RE5 was first person machine gun shooting all them devil off the bikes...........yuck.......if i wanted 2 play a shooter game i wouldn't even touch RE5 as so many shooters out there already tops it

I guess you're one of those guys who hates Devil May Cry right? I mean you get guns, you shoot your opponent, you pick up other types and it's an action game. Good god, guess it's actually a FPS then. Devil May Cry didn't actually ruin the game by having guns. But I guess by your logic, DMC is actually a Shooter game.
Case in point, if you don't want to use the gun, don't. I will, In fact I wouldn't be surprised if you can obtain a trophy for "Killing X amount of enemies using the rocket launcher gun..etc"

u seem 2 like 2 over exaggerate things i said u seem 2 not get enough of fps or in this case guns...i remember saying you were addicted to shooting games in general..............u can continue on wid the dont use the weapon approach until team ninja makes 2 much use of the guns that u will have to be force to shoot down boss and minions from a distance separated by lava fights instead of malee............if the game goes this direction it will f#@k up the ninja feel to the game......like i said b4 not all games are meant 2 be play wid guns

Yeah Stealth is right, dude just don't use it, I understand if it was a vital element that you MUST use. But if its optional its ok, I have this game on 360, same as I had the NG:Black on OXBox and have it for PS3, I'll read the reviews...hopefully team ninja do a full 1080p that's my biggest turn off about buying PS3 games, all 360 games tho "upscaled" are 1080p, even if its 720p up to that, I love seeing the higher res. I love what 2k did with Bioshock on PS3, looks so much better than Xbox/PC versions. I'm not a ps3 fanboy, I actually play 360 more...but usually late games have extra AWESOME features ;]
