Beijing 2008 - Image 1After coming out with Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (DS, Wii), Sega is gearing up for the release of another Olympic title, only this time it won't be starring the two video game icons. Instead, Sega will be releasing a more realistic title called Beijing 2008 - the Official Video Game of the Olympic Games.

Done in partnership with International Sports Multimedia (ISM) and being developed by Eurocom Entertainment Software, this title promises to be an authentic simulation of over 35 different events from the upcoming Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Since it's an official title, many of the venues for the actual Olympics will be included in the game.

Beijing 2008 will also include online gameplay and a variety of gameplay modes never before seen in any of the other official Olympic Games video games that came before it. Beijing 2008 is set to hit in Summer 2008 and will be available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
