SegaSeptember 2006 will be well remembered as the press conference month. It was recently reported, Nintendo will be conducting three. And all of these to be held in three different continents as well. Not to be outdone, Sega plans to hold one (or who knows how many) of its own, according to rumors circulating around.

Unlike the Nintendo gigs that have concrete dates and locations already (September 14 in Japan and United States, September 15 in Europe), details of the Sega press conference are still being withheld. It is clear however that Sega will be using this event to present new titles from here on until 2007.

There are hushed talks also, saying Sega may be building a new console. That we are not sure about, but we feel that the Sega gig will be focusing on new titles for Wii, and possibly for DS as well.

I'd enjoy seeing a new Sega console too, I'm sure it will never happen though.

I just wish they'd make Shenmue III...
