The gateway to the Shivering Isles - Image 1Fans of Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion should be keeping an eye on the U.S. PlayStation Store next week. Peter Hines, Bethesda’s Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing, has reportedly confirmed that The Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles will become available for download on the U.S. PlayStation Store on Thursday, November 29.

The Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles is the first expansion pack for the critically-acclaimed and highly popular RPG title The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) takes place in the Shivering Isles - also known as the Realm of Madness - a realm of Oblivion ruled by prince Sheogorath.

Players who venture onto the Shivering Isles can get new weapons and armor, new items, new ingredients, new spells, new achievements and new enemies, plus a chance to face the dread prince himself.

Full pricing for The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles has yet to be disclosed. Bethesda has also yet to make announcements on when the download will become available in other parts of the world. Of course, those who can't get the download can still opt for Oblivion's Game of the Year edition, which includes the Shivering Isles expansion.
