The game is being developed under the 2K Games banner. Firaxis Games, as usual, is the studio developing it with renowned RTS master Sid Meier at the lead designer role. The game will also make its way to the Nintendo Wii on a date yet to be announced.

Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution takes a new spin on the Civilization franchise by throwing in a more console-oriented gameplay style  that blends strategy and action elements. It also leans toward capitalizing on the capabilities of its host platforms to go online and build communities.

I loved Civilization III on the computer. I'll have to pick this game up in June.
