If you can't wait to get your hands on Electronic Arts' Skate 2, then don't worry. You won't have to wait for long to have your try at the game - on demo at least. EA has announced today via press wire that the game's demo will soon be ready on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network.

By soon, we mean real soon. As in, tomorrow soon. Xbox 360 owners can put on their skating shoes for the trial on January 8th, while the PS3 owners can practice their board tricks till it lands on the PSN on January 15th.

The demo will give you access to the New San Vanelona City - you can practice customizing your character here so you can skate with style. Also, you'll be treated to a first look of the single-player story, as well as exciting challenges and brand new locations.

You'll also be glad to know that the demo will be featuring as well two of the game's onine Party Play Modes, namely the Thrasher's Hall of Meat and Spot Bottle modes.

The demo comes just in time; Skate 2 comes out in North America on January 21st, and January 23rd for the rest of the world.
