Ubisoft Hush HushDuring a feature about Ubisoft's efforts to include female gamers - and females, in general - into its market, Yves Guillemot, chief executive of Ubisoft had this to say about their upcoming game: "It's more oriented toward drama, more life in characters, more depth," he said, adding, "It's still about surviving, but you can't resolve things by shooting only."

Ubisoft has been very hush hush about this game, even denying a supposed leaked release date schedule that said that Alive was set to be released for the PS3 and the Xbox. The platform(s) and the release date for Alive is still confirmed by Ubisoft.

Given that this was mentioned during a feature on the "feminine" side of gaming, it's probably safe to assume that Alive (even if it looks to be a post earthquake survival game) will be a bit different than other games action-survival fans are used to.

Yeah some interesting drama might pull in more females. Alot of girls don't enjoy blood soaking gameplay. At least the ones I know don't.
