You know you've reached celebrity status when you get your images splattered on the pages of a magazine. Sonic The Hedgehog did just that in the last editions of the official Xbox and PlayStation magazines. The article reveals new images of Sonic the Hedgehog as he will appear on Xbox 360 and PS3. Aside from paparazzi shots, the article discloses that the still untitled STH game will be playable online. Full pre-release details will be presented at the upcoming E3 2006. Sonic The Hedgehog for next-gen is expected to ship some time this year in time for its 15th anniversary bash.

i really hope that this is a return to the sonic adventure series, that was without a doubt the second best sonic series to date (first being the genesis games but if the advance games are anything to go by then we shouldnt expect to see them again any time soon.)

 » sonic rush

sonic rush for the ds was a return to form for me. All the 3d games to date are a bit crap compared to the originals. While this is 3d I hope they stay true to the series and dont put stupid gameplay elements in.

Im a huge Sonic Fan but I have been equally as disappointed with there last few releases. I did like Sonic Adventure, but it was still a tad off from the Genesis handful of titles along with Sonic CD. I do hope they get it right this time around =).

Sa2 was the best, but left me wanting more. Unfortunately, heroes was not what I was looking for. This game is online!!! Oh my god! imagine a mmorpg sonic. It might not be mmorpg, but sonic online is going to be the bomb!

 » Title

You say in the article and untitled sonic game, but they already told everyone the title back at some other game event in tokyo. It is called Sonic The Hedgehog, because it brings the series back to it's roots or something like that. Look it up, it's there.
