After declining to grace Leipzig with their presence, Sony has suddenly announced that it is confirming the rumor that there will be at least 27 playable Playstation 3 titles at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, which will bring the total number of games on display to 35, since games that are still in development will also be shown at the TGS. |

Where the f**k is the big and brilliant Killzone??
Well, who knows? The released list still is incomplete, so Killzone may be included as the rest of the list is revealed, as the TGS gets closer. :)
27! 27! Is this one of the major annoucements?
look at that list!
it's missing some totally crucial titles... but who out there thinks they may just 'spring' some 'surprises' in the form of mgs4 or ff13 (i doubt these will be 'surprises' though) or killzone 2 or - and this is my dealbreaker at launch - wipeout...
i would kill for a ps3 wipeout.
oh, and resistance is looking pretty good isn't it?
ps3 ftw
Lets be honest... im excited about the list but there isnt a snowballs chance in hell that ff13 will be there... they wont have a playable version of that in at least a year... i would love to see Assassins Creed though...
And I live 1000's of miles away
i would dearly love to see ff13 in action (and we MIGHT see more trailers or something) but playable demos are totally unlikely. oh well, i will continue to dream.
they did say they had been working on it for a while didn't they? ....*sigh*
Everybody's golf! Omg its the best game on psp its gona be so awsome on ps3! hmm Granturismo series.....where the hell is the psp version!
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~iiiiiiiidge Racer!!!!!!!!
;)
I going to TGS'06 and I can't wait...I've got my press pass for Friday and I've got tickets for both Saturday and Sunday.
are you all seriously blind? DMC 4 is on the goddamn list, that sh*t will blow the minds of anybody on the wall between wii and ps3
smuggle me in!!!
Xbox360 в жопе... йессс)))
dmc4 with the ps3. winz.
ive been saying for ages on here that ps3 will pull out everything in their hat at tgs. Its in there back yard and they always go bigger and better at tgs than they do at e3. Cant wait to go!!!!
Seriously?? You're going?? WOW!! keep us posted!! ^__^
I was at the Tokyo Game Show 2005 and was hoping for this but all I got was playable XB360! Damn, at least the chicks were hot :)
omg omg omg dmc4 rocks cant wait to see it in action damn i wish i can go to tokyo but i wont be able to :( i wish i live in japan instead :(
Wow thats quite an impressive number of playable games... but then again it'll only be a few months before the PS3 launches... so there'd had better be playable games at that stage.
At first I was reading the article thinking hot damn! Sony's going to have 27 launch titles but then I realized it's just playable titles at the show.
So some what less than 27 at launch. Probably 15 is my guess at launch. Hell they should have 20-30 given they are 9 months late (ok, cheap stab).

that's the least pointing barb i've ever read about the PS3 these past few months.
i'm sure you can do better. lol
as for launch titles, as long Resistance, Warhawk, Untold Legends, Rainbow Six, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Lair come out at launch, i'll be plenty occupied (and broke. how much do pints of blood go for these days?)
Anyways, Fatal Inertia and Sonic The Hedgehog (provided that the latter will be out on launch) are my most anticipated launch titles.
Bring on PS3 WipEout!

Yeah, I am not really trying to raz the PS3 that much in that post. Actually if the PS3 comes out with 15-20 titles that is really good for a launch. Xbox 360 had about the same at 17 and either number is much better than either the original PS2 at 7 and the original Xbox at 11 (?).
So it's not really important other than to note that it's not 3 like the Nintendo 64, if you know what I mean.
I have Resistance and Motorstorm on reserve. I am very curious about Lair but haven't seen it in action or read many details yet. I am very excited about it though and would probably get it if it get's decent reviews. Thinking about Call of Duty but don't know which system to get it for (360 or PS3).
Fun times.

I can gurantee only 2 titles will be worth owning. The other three-thirds will be a mix of regurgitated PS2 leftovers that aren't worth playing. That's the story of all launch titles.
