at least in europe the ps1 adds were with real looking people talking about how well they've 'lived' due to ps1, "i've climbed mountains... i've commanded armies... " etc.
if this is in a similar vein then i'm all for it. this little preview has no linearity at all, if the adds were like this they'd suck hard cos there would be no telling what it's about. BUT IT:S A PREVIEW... so that's ok.

I suppose they put too much sports in it, just like the bad advertisement campain of M$ ( jump in ). I suppose the new advertisement company want more to simply stick their slogan into our heads than make a great ad.
But maybe putting sports in a video game ad could help stop the bad thinking about video gamers. We do sports too, I mean, I run a lot ( great stamina ) and play individual sports like badminton ( I love this ). So maybe the bad idea a lot of non-gamers have of us could be smaller.
ps: wow, I'm still supprised to see my name on this topic =D. I hope they will start showing some "sum it up" post with their author for some other "updates" about topics.

I had it in an early draft of this article (I must have accidentally left it out in the final thing I posted), this ad is not a stand-alone ad. It's a PREVIEW AD, in this case, it's a preview for what it says at the very end of the ad: 6 short clips about the PS3.
