For those who may not be too happy that there weren't enough launch titles for the PS3, well, it looks like Sony's listening and is now doing something about it.

In a recent announcement, Sony revealed that its PlayStation Unit will be working with Namco Bandai to develop more games for the PS3. The joint-venture, dubbed as Cellius Inc., will begin its operations by March 6. In the meantime, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. spokesman Satoshi Fukuoka has remarked that Cellius will be focusing on developing games which can fully make use of the capabilities of the PS3's Cell Processor.

They are considering making games and content for the PS3, mobile phones, and the PC, and they are also hoping that through this, they may recoup the US $ 1.65 billion that they have put out for the development of the Cell.

 » GOOD NEWS!

XBOX 360 might have the a lot of games coming out this year, but majority of those MUST have AA games are all FPS. Mass Effect is the only one i can consider to be worth buying other than the FPS that they offer.

Knowing that SONY is working on 100 PS3 games as they have mentioned during TGS 2006. It's nice to know that BANDAI have taken the iniative to put their resources and makes games that will take the POWER of the PS3 from the ground up. Bandai is known for the Fighting and RPG games, and this are the games that the PS3 are known for.

If you like Japanese games, then PS3 and Wii is the console for you. Because it's common sense that most of the games that they developing are coming out in Japan first before porting it here in the U.S and Europe. Without Japanese FULL support, i truly believe that XBOX 360 will have a hard time in this next gen competition for a long long time.

i agree with the japan part Look at sony japan numbers already they are about double the 360's japan numebrs and they have close to an equivalent(allittle stronger) US support and thats more then enough to take over 360's US support which is big including their mediocre Europe support and thats not even including Sonys europe support

I believe that we will see many anime/game (Bandai) for ps3 and I hope that quality is better than in the past.

Anime/game always give a sell boost in Japan and Sony know this.
