Yeck Entertainment - Image 1Japanese site Impress Watch is reporting that Sony Computer Entertainment Taiwan has teamed up with a MMO studio for two titles -- a PSP casual game, and a PS3 online game. Yeck Entertainment would be the said MMO studio working collab with Sony at this point.

Details on the said games are scarce, and frankly, a Sony Taiwan game may not necessarily mean anything significant for us on the other side of the world. However, given that the consoles market in Taiwan is much smaller (PC and free online RPGs reign supreme) than the rest, it is highly unlikely that they will be limiting this online game to that territory alone.

We're expecting more info on the game as well as news of the possibility that Western territories will catch a glimpse of it as well. It does make sense after all to test run a PS3 online game on a region where online games are the unquestionable favorites. If it passes their expert tastes, then it just might as well be good to go for other markets.

Included in the portfolio of Yeck Entertainment would be the MMO Legends of Glory, and the tilt-controlled iPhone puzzle game Cubee Cubee.
