SCEE logo - Image 1Sony has expressed its approval of what's been written about the PlayStation 3 and its software line-up so far. The platform has been described as having a slightly better line-up than its competitors, much to the delight of its bosses.

David Reeves, head of SCEE, said that he couldn't agree more and that their company is feeling very confident at the moment. He drew references to Jack Tretton's talk over the last E3 in Los Angeles and said that he's convinced they have the edge.

"We think we’ve got title after title after title, not only first party but third party and I think in America they have the advantage of the video downloads service, which came at exactly the right time," he commented.

Reeves added that it's not only Sony that's beginning to fire up good sales figures. He gave credit to the industry in general for keeping business good in the last nine months even with a receding world economy.
